Geeze where have I been? bits and bits

So sorry for lack of posts if you are even still reading this out there. :)
Here is a bit of this and that ramblings about whatever comes to mind has I stare at the computer screen
Top Chef- I have been following Top Chef since the start and generally find it engaging and good for what is essential a cooking reality show. The last few seasons and more so especially this season they are getting me to be less interested in the show cause they are doing something that I would consider something that the show didn't do before. That is they are catering to the bickering reality show stereotype. Top Chef was one of the few programs that didn't feature constant arguments and bad guy characters sure there was Marcel but he was more of a weasel then a bad guy. Has of the current season though they now have a guy who was labeled the bad guy chef right from the start and it's aggravating and dumb. I watch Top Chef to see cool dishes ,how chefs work ,and occasionally cute female chefs (cause I am shallow and human,this season its Danyell by the way )

FF- so FF number one came out this past week I am still broke but I need to read this

Spiderman- Unlike other people I am not up and arms about the ending of Amazing Spiderman at issue 700 cause guess what Marvel did it already about 10 yrs ago when JMS run began or before that with Byrne's run. The spoilers I heard about sound pretty intriguing and I don't fear change in comics like certain "comic fans". Dan Slott is a good writer who get's crap for something he has nothing to do with though he did hold up the Sundays Comic panel from starting one year at Wizard World Philly but I won't hold it against him.

Kajutron or Uprising of the Duel Masters

So I watched the first episode of Tron Uprising and the first four episodes of Kajudo. I really enjoyed one and felt the other was lacking a lot. Maybe by that first sentence you can kind of guess which is which.






  
The premise if anyone doesn't know is this bridges some of the gap between Tron 1 and 2. So I was going into watching this thinking it would be a cool use of the Tron concept and...nope.First off the thing that hits you like an anvil is the animation. So herky jerky why this is suppose to be Disney,who let this one slide? If you can get by this the second big thing is the plot. Now maybe some of this will be cleared up later but I think the better story would be between Tron 1 and the story told in this cause the world has established in the first episode is wayyyyyyy different then seen in Tron. That leads to the third problem. Uprising doesn't feel like it's in a computer world it just feels like a lousy action cartoon with neon. I mean come on rain?


The premise of this one is kids controlling beasts to stop a bad guy trying to use said beasts for nefarious purposes. Well more then that but that is the basic jist. Think Digimon in the real world.
I watched the first episode on a whim thinking this will be stupid. Man I was wrong my summation of it is kind of dumb but give it a chance.This was a well done show that sure it has the message of the week feel but not ham fisted about it. I really like the animation and designs of this. Not has good has but feels like the same way Avatar took major influence from anime and martial arts this takes from anime kid's shows (Digimon,Yu Gih Oh)and monster movies and makes it work.

Yes I have mentioned the awesomeness that is Chikara before and now on June 2 is their next IPPV. What is IPPV you say to your laptop or iphone has people stare at you while o the bus. IPPV our internet pay per views you pay to watch them online and then can watch them whenever but preferably live. Even if you only kind of like wrestling give it a shot and tell your friends about it.

This Sunday's Episode of Avengers EMH

Not only does it feature the Guardians of the Galaxy,the episode is called Michael Korvac.
Star of a classic Avengers storyline which I just re-read not even knowing of this. Seek it out people. Interesting note though that the story featured the 30th Century Guardians and Starhawk is integral to it so methinks it won't be an adaptation.
Has always watch it! Tell everyone you know to watch it! Write Marvel Animation and Disney XD and tell them not to cancel this for a Ultimate Show.

Why hasn't there been...

a Firestorm movie? Even an animated one. I pointed out in the past that Ron Raymond or Jason Rusch are DC's (least Pre-Nu52) closest characters to Spiderman.(well without ties to other characters like Flash/Wally West has) Just felt like venting. How is the Nu52 Firestorm I haven't read it yet cause I am poor. Please leave comments below
