Comic Updates
Hey everyone! It's been awhile hasn't it? Yeah my bad. Kids still say that right?
Brightest Day(has of issue 6)-okay maybe I was wrong about the ending of Blackest Night. The beauty of the story so far is each segment is on equal footing in that there isn't a part that I would just skim over to get to the next. That is not to say there isn't a standout. In general Aquaman is the strongest segment with Firestorm being a personal favorite.
I think we all have seen the teaser image that opens this article. Sorry its not bigger but I had hell of a time just getting it there. One of the weirdest most interesting rumours stemming from this is that tree with the white lantern symbol. Some people are saying that will lead to swamp Thing returning to the DCU. Any other rumours please feel free to comment that goes with anything I post.
Later in the week(which could be anytime in the next few months:P)I will do a write up on the Avengers so far. Now its time for a new recurring feature Coolest Comic Book Costumes! First up Earth 2 Robin. No not that grey thing originally worn by the adult Dick Grayson of Earth 2 but the costume originally made for the Earth 1 Robin but adopted by the E-2 counterpart. A version of this costume can be seen in Batman Brave and the Bold.Which every DCU fan should watch' Really fun cartoon. Please send in suggestions for future CCBCs

Things I am excited for Comic Edition!
Yes a look forward to things I am uhhh looking forward to in comics
Brightest Day-where is Blackest Night leading? Why Brightest Day of course. The interesting thing is that its a 26(?) issue bi-weekly series. Might be a little bit of overkill on DC's part but I have faith
Johns and company
Heroic Age-Marvel's next overarching storyline(if you weeeelll) I am really enjoying Dark Reign but I am glad to see the return of Heroes.(just not on NBC) The talk is that all Avengers titles are ending to be rebooted into one main Avengers title. Now I understand Dark and New ending but I hope something is good is in store for Mighty(Defenders maybe?) and Initiative is becoming Avengers Academy which is cool. Plus Gorilla Man is featured in promos for the Avengers hopefully that means more Agents of Atlas
War of the Supermen-The last year or so of the Superman titles have not had Superman in them cause Superman has been on New Krypton. In his stead has been Nightwing(Chris Kent) and Flamebird two Kryptonians tracking down fugitive agents put on Earth by Zod in Action Comics. Superman on the other hand features Mon-El and Guardian. The main enemy in both has been General Lane and Project 7734 err Hell who are a anti-alien military unit(echoing the Superman and Legion story buy it!) The War of the Supermen story is going to be(I think) a Krypton vs. Earth vs. Braniac/Luthor thing which should be cool.
Guardians of the Galaxy/Marvel Cosmic- This next entry is doesn't have a name yet but I have to talk about it(spoilerz) Not only to we have the Magus back but wait for it..............................
THANOS is coming back! Keep it coming Abnett and Laning!
Yeah thats it for now I will have some reviews and maybe a whatever post this week. Honest:)
Thanks again Ragingbullets.com

Some reviews and stuff there will be SPOLIERZ
Okay I have been behind. So sue me.Maybe I will do something different later this weekend but knowing me it will be Cthulu knows when. Thinking about a wrestling post or maybe a Dr. Who one or maybe Dr Who wrestling post:) For now some reviews of comics from the last coupla weeks. Basically some comics I grabbed off the pile by my bed.
First up-
Siege:Embedded
writer-Brian Reed
art-Chris Samnee
This is the Siege version of Frontline. Those not in the know Frontline is the Marvel Underground newspaper/website journalists this time getting the story of the Asgard invasion traveling with Volstagg. This seems to be better already then the previous Frontline minis(it better be cause I am buying this one instead of reading Tom's) I know Marvel is going political again, heck Glen Beck is in this, but wouldnt the stadium blowing up be another Stamford Incident? Nope its a terrorist attack so were invading Asgard! Yeah I know Loki is manipulating Osborn its a monr quibble in what is shaping up to be better then the really disappointing World War Hulk and the actually cool but the spin offs were better Secret Invasion. One thing why is the Siege logo the LOST one?
one more cause its getting close to Conan time
JSA All Stars
writer-Matthew Sturges
artist-Freddie Williams 2nd
Honestly has much has I have supported JSA over the years ,since Starman kindled my love for the Golden Age heroes to the previous series to today,I came close to not buying this issue after the so-so first issue. I bought it anyway enjoyed seeing the Injustice Society although kinda out of character for some of them. The cliffhanger has me for at least one more issue. What really got me was...
The Co-Feature
Libery Belle/Hourman
Writer-Jen Van Meter
Artist-Travis Moore
Now this is more like it! Jen Van Meter wrote the Jsa Classified arc about the Injustice Society a few years ago which is a great read. She gets the characters and really should be writing the main book. Sorry Sean and Jim at Raging Bullets wish I could have has much enusiasm for this book has you guys do. While I enjoy it not has got a read every month vibe that the previous JSA series did for me. I will give it a couple more months out of love for the characters and the co-feature then I will decide
